The answers to common questions we get are listed below. If your question is not answered here, or you have some feedback about our apps, please send us an email.

support-soulverSoulver:

Is Soulver compatible with 10.7 Lion?

Sure is, and it takes advantage of Versions and Resume. It is also compatible with 10.6 Snow Leopard.

Do you still have older versions of Soulver available for download?

Yes:

Can I use "x" as a multiplication sign in Soulver?

We would prefer if you didn't. "x" is an alphabetical character, not a mathematical operator.
However, there is a similar by slightly different character "×" that can be used for multiplication. By default, Soulver will automatically insert this character when you type "*" (shift-8).

How do I share files from my Mac with the iPhone & iPad versions of Soulver?

There are a few ways:

Can I purchase the Mac, iPad & iPhone versions Soulver together in a bundle?

No, Apple does not allow for this at the moment, and iTunes is the only way to get the iOS versions of Soulver.

support-picturesquePicturesque:

Do you still have older versions of Picturesque available for download?

Yes:

Does Picturesque support embedded color profiles?

Yes, your image's original color profile will be applied to your saved image.

Picturesque won't save my image on Snow Leopard or Lion.

Picturesque is compatible with Snow Leopard and Lion, so you're probably using an older version (before 2.2) that isn't compatible. You just need to update to the latest version. There was a bit of a problem with the self updater in 2.1.4, so if you have that version specifically, you need to re-download Picturesque manually from here.

support-generalGeneral:

Can I try your software before buying it?

All our apps are "shareware", which means you can try them out before purchasing to see if they meet your needs. Before you purchase the app, it is limited in some way. For example, Picturesque puts a watermark on a saved image. A serial number that you will receive after buying the app will remove this limitation.

support-purchasingPurchasing:

I don't like PayPal. Do you have any alternate payment options?

Yes, we also accept credit card payments through FastSpring. There is a link on the right side of the purchase page

Do you charge for upgrades?

Very major updates (eg. from 1.0 to 2.0) usually require an upgrade license. It's always significantly cheaper than buying a new license. Other updates are free (eg 1.1 to 1.2).

If you purchased an app from us directly within a month of a major release, you will receive a free upgrade code automatically by email.

Will I get a DVD with my purchase shipped to me?

No, our products are distributed online.

support-purchasingThe App Store:

Will I also get a serial number if I purchase your app from the App Store?

No, a serial number is not necessary as you can download the full version of the app directly from the App Store.

Is there any difference between the App Store version of an app, and the version downloaded from you directly?

There's no difference in functionality, other than the App Store version not requiring a serial number.

support-serialsSerial Numbers:

I've purchased one of your apps, but I still have not received my serial number.
